Well, I guess not....
Somehow, I doubt it.
Trust me, there is no shortage of talented writers. There would be no need to scout this site for talent.
Why go to the store for milk when you got millions of farmers killing each other to throw cows through your window?
Never say never as they have been known to be on YouTube, and discovered talent.
Hey, whats the point of writing here if we don't think someone important is taking notes?
If there ARE any big wheels looking for talent here they probably arent that big. My suggestion is we use this site to hone our craft, finish our scripts and prep them for contests, submissions to potential producers or using to line our kitchen trash cans. :)
You'd be surprised. Also this field - screenwriting - survives largely by word of mouth. Even if a "small" producer is here, s/he may have contacts with "larger" companies. A producer I'm working with has Oscar winning contacts.
I would be delighted with a small festival interest.
