ORIGINATOR
Robin Bailes (Sent 4 years, 6 months ago)
Whatever.
Jason Grossman (Sent 4 years, 6 months ago)
I like this idea. It could be a series "Phobics at Play" or something.
Very funny, and I'm sure that head popping out of the chimney would be extremely fearful/apprehensive.
Some other thoughts: Hunting (just pointing a rifle out the door), Fishing (failing in an attempt to cast a line far enough to reach water; the lure/hook just hits the ground), Tennis (we see a serve out of the front door and then the racket is poised for a return that doesn't happen).

Great addition Jason. I laughed out loud at the image of a lure hitting dry ground well short of a pond (or pool filled with fish?). Maybe after a pause....the lure is slowly reeled back in. All the viewer sees is a fishing rod sticking out a doorway.
Jeremy Davies (Sent 4 years, 5 months ago)
This made me laugh, as most of this guy's stuff does.
Forest O'Brien (Sent 4 years, 2 months ago)
I made a few changes, but didn't include any of the stuff Jason suggested. I might create a new script off of the same idea to incorporate those scenes -- it could be like a series....

Hahaha...this is very funny. What do you want to do with this? Do you want to make this a feature script? This could be a gas. THe basic idea is great. Expand it! I'm dying to meet the phobic characters.

One thing: the ideas are good but your writing of the action is (I feel) muddled. It's kinda hard to tell what is happening. It takes more work than you probably want a writer to give. But once I DO know what's happening it's very fun.

BTW, am I being dumb or is there more to this then what I am reading? New to the site, not sure if this is a scene from a longer piece or only a sketch.

Thx.

Not dumb at all. If you click on "Revisions" in the menu bar above, you'll see the complete list of saved revisions. You can compare any two revisions, or if you click on Revision #1 you'll see what Robin originally wrote. I LOVE this concept. Still one of my favorites on the site. You should jump in!

Hi Kelly! I'm confused. So we see the different version the writer went through? I have to say I'm not yet really comfortable with other people getting into my work and rewriting it...but I am totally new at this and am not sure what the entire system is!

So the idea is not only sharing ideas but editing others' work? help!
