Biography
Earl Thompson’s biography.
My name is Earl Claudius Thompson. I was born in
Jamaica, West Indies in May of 1962. I was a police for
twelve years in Jamaica from 1980 to 1992. In April of
1992, I migrated to Canada where I spent ten years. I’m
presently living in North Lauderdale, Florida.
I have been writing from as early as twelve years of
age. In August of 1995 I won an award from the
International society of poets. Since then I have won other
awards for poetry. I recently won an award called “Editor’s
choice awardâ€, for a poem I submitted to the International
Society of poets last year.
I published my first novel in the year two thousand
with iuniverse.com. It was called “The Last Of The Con-
men.†I later published another one called “Jimmy’s New
Life†with the same company in 2002. In December of 2006 I
published my third novel called “The Relocatorsâ€. This
Novel can be seen on Publishamerica.com, Amazon.com,
Bn.com, and Borders.com.
My poetry can be seen on Poetry.com. I have written
over twenty five feature length screenplays and a few
shorts. I also write lyrics. I recently wrote some songs
for a gospel album which will be made later this year.
