Biography

I went to college for a major in graphic design, and a minor in animation. I guess it takes a few thousand in student loans and a tanked economy to realize what you really want to do. And as much as I love art and creating it, I love to read and write more. And as much as I love to write, my attention span is definitely under 140 pages... most of my "novels" don't get beyond that point. So, I'm introducing myself to screenplays, and hoping they reciprocate the affection!

Favorite Movie Genres: Action, Adventure, Animated, Children/Family, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Foreign, Horror, Independent, Mockumentary, Musical, Mystery/Suspense, Romance, Sci-Fi, Sports, Western

Favorite Music Genres: Alternative, Dance, Jazz/Blues, Punk, Rock, Oldies

Hobbies: Reading... Lots of it. Drawing, painting, acting... though I haven't done too much of those lately. Karaoke singing! That's more current. Watching T.V., petting the cats, giving advice... are those hobbies or just my life?

Favorite Movies: Amelie, Boondock Saints, Snatch, Cowboy Bebop the Movie (and series!), anything Miyazaki has directed, almost all of the Pixar films, Cats Don't Dance, Fight Club, Willow, The Princess Bride... and more. Princess Mononoke is my favorite Miyazaki, followed by Whisper of the Heart, then Spirited Away, then Kiki's Delivery Service.

Favorite Books: The list... is enormous. All of Patricia Briggs, all of Tamora Pierce, all of David Eddings, Sheryl Jordan "Winter of Fire, " "Time of the Eagle, " all of the "Cast In" series by Michelle Sagara, romance novelists Jayne Ann Krentz (and her 3 other pseudonyms), Julie Garwood, Jennifer Cruise (Bet Me especially), early Jude Devereaux, early Johanna Lindsey, early Nora Roberts, and Susan Elizabeth Phillips especially, but I also like Chuck Palahniuk, Markus Zusak, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffery, Patrick Rothfuss, Yoshiki Nakamura, Tite Kubo, Naono Bohra, Jim Butcher, Lois McMaster Bujold, and I adore adore adore Terry Pratchett. Heck yeah.
